The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is teaming up with MENTOR Canada to host a Power of Mentoring virtual event with any high school students interested in exploring early childhood education career pathways on May 31, 2022 at 1:30 pm AT.

This 90-minute virtual event will elevate the experiences and insights of professionals working in early childhood education through both large-group and smaller group discussions.  It will highlight high-demand jobs for students and provide them guidance on how to set and achieve their career goals.

Panel Discussion Topics:  This event will focus on the following topics:  Changes in the early childhood education sector, pre-career preparation, job searching, networking and skill development (including growth mindset and confidence).
