Monday (Day 5) for: 6C, 6D, & 6F

Wednesday (Day 2) for 6I & 6H

Passport projects begin next week.  We will travel around the world on 2 passports. One will be to visit various countries on each continent (research on Antarctica) and the other passport will be to visit indigenous peoples around the world (Early civilizations where applicable).

This is NOT a race and will be done entirely here at school. We have library times booked. Important that students who miss time make time during Options to catch up if they are out on a library day.

Library Days are: April 16th & 25th; May 2nd, 6th, 9th and 14th.

Completed work will be marked on quality of content, independence of research skills, creativity/uniqueness and neatness. Many resources will be made available here and students must register the countries they are visiting with me, so we can try to get a very broad coverage within each class.

Some classes will be spent enjoying traditional dances of the countries and peoples visited each week and some students may decide to prepare a food to share with the class near the end of May or beginning of June. Please be mindful of food restrictions (nuts, especially) for your  student's HR class should your child decide to share a recipe or special food item.
