​Students are taking a step back from our work on procedural reading and writing this week to share and set reading goals for 2023. Students are being asked to complete the following tasks by the end of class on Thursday: 

1. Book Review: Students should choose a book they read over the past year (since Dec. of   grade 6) to review. We will share these in class on Thursday. Document:Book Review template blank.docx Example:Book Review model.docx

 2.2023 Reading Goal: Students will think about themselves as a reader over the past 4   months, and create a SMART (specific, measurable,achievable, relevant, timely) reading   goal  for 2023.
