​Students are contuing to work on procedural writing. This week, we are working on providing clear intructions for someone else to follow. Students are being asked to create a drawing and include instructions they will later use to dictate to a classmate, with the goal of having the classmate replicate the drawing using the oral directions. The measure of success for students will be how similar their classmate's drawing is to theirs. Students began this assignment today (Tuesday) and will be partnering up tomorrow to test the clarity of their instructions. For students who wish to test their work prior to tomorrow, they may finish for homework tonight and test on a sibling, friend or parent.
