MS Teams Kahoot assignment is due tomorrow (Thursday) at 8pm.

Our quiz on fractions, ratios and percentages has been moved to Monday, November 2nd to allow for additional review time. Students will be completing and correcting a practice quiz in class this week. In order to be successful on this quiz, students must be able to:

I         1)      Write and draw part-to-part ratios

2)      Write and draw part-to-whole ratios

3)      Find equivalent ratios for a given ratio

4)      Represent percentages in pictures, decimal numbers and reduced fractions.

Science - MS Teams assignment on arthropods is due on Monday, November 2nd at 8pm.

There will be a quiz on arthropods on Tuesday, November 3rd. In order to be successful on this quiz, students should know:

-          The common attributes of arthropods (foldable)

-          4 types of arthropods (insects, myriapods, crustaceans, arachnids)

-          # of legs, # of body sections & # of antennae for each arthropod class (jigsaw notes)

-          3 - 5 examples of animals that belong to each arthropod class (only 2 for myriapods)

-          Be able to classify animals as insects, arachnids, crustaceans or myriapods
