What we are learning:

Literacy:  5 new sight words and phrases – we, am, then, little, down.

Numeracy:  Work on teen numbers, counting back from 20 to 0.

You and Your World: Peace and friendship, belonging to a group.

 Information Items/Dates to Remember:

·        Nov. 7 – Picture retakes for those who sent in request forms.

·        Nov. 10 – Professional Learning Day – no school for students.

·        Nov. 13 – Remembrance Day Statutory holiday – schools are closed.

·        Nov. 15 – GNMES clothing orders due.

·        Nov. 20 – Report cards go home - parent teacher interviews will be scheduled for that week.

·        Nov. 24 – No school for students – interviews a.m. – professional learning for teachers p.m.

·        Christmas Concert dates – Dec. 7th, Dec. 8th – 9:15 a.m. – no costumes necessary – wear your best!

Homework

·        5 new words and phrases and read 1 good fit book each night.

·        Bring your homework bag and Sight Word Book each day.

·        Label any money being sent to school so the teacher will know its intended purpose.
