Math-a-thon
Information: (To raise money for our GNMES 5-lane track & long jump pit)
o Oct. 4 - Sponsor sheets and
practice page will be sent home.
o Oct. 10 - Return sponsor sheets
to school; students will do Math-a-thon activity.
o Oct. 12 - Sponsor sheets will be
returned to you to collect from your sponsors.
o Oct. 16 – Math-a-thon money due.

Turkey
Dinner on Oct. 6 (the only food
available at the cafeteria on Oct. 6) – must be paid for by Oct. 5th
·
School
photos – Oct. 16, 2017
·
No school on Monday, October. 9th
for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please
note if there are any changes to your child’s going home
arrangements, we MUST have a note from you or a phone call to the office
before 1:00 on Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. and 10:00 on Wed.

continue to check your child’s hair each night.

Send
in school fees ($45) as soon as possible. 7 are still owing. Thanks!
Homework
·
Please
check your child’s homework bag each night for any important information from
school and empty it. Leave the home
reading books and orange BIRD WORDS duotang in the black bag.
·
Return
your child’s homework bag each day. Return library books by Thursdays.
·
Label
any money being sent to school so the teacher will know its intended purpose.
·
Practice
your new 5 sight words and read 1 good fit book each night.
