Devon Grade 6 & 7 Boys - Open Basketball Program


To Promote Active Living; Develop Basketball Skills & Have FunJ


Parent/kids meeting on September 7th at 10:00am followed by gym time until Noon (Devon Gym).


After September 7th, practice will be every Saturday Morning depending on gym availability, please visit the sport calendar for specific time.

Athletic Ceremony June 20th & Request for Photos

Parents & Guardians,

Our Athletic Ceremony will be held on June 20th this year starting at 4:30pm going until approximately 6:00pm.  We invite you and your family to attend to celebrate our student ahletes.  

If you have any photos from any of our after school teams this season please drop them off to Ms. Allison or Mr. Butler on a USB.  If you could please limit the amount of photos to about 20-30 per sport/team that would be appreciated.  If you have 5 or less photos feel free to email them to cody.butler@nbed.nb.ca and anything over 5 photos please send in on USB.

Congratulations To All Badminton Players

Congratulations to all badminton athletes for a very successful season again this year.  The following athletes finished in the top 3 earning points for their respective Tier. We also have some notable mentions of athletes finishing in 4th place.

Tier 1:

Hilary Yerxa – 3rd  place in Grade 6 Singles

Nate Small – 4th place in Grade 6 Singles

Karlyn Jacobson – 4th place in Grade 6 Singles

Leah Stewart & Gracie Reader – 2nd place in Grade 7 Doubles

Aylish Leavitt & Morgan Foster – 3rd  place in Grade 7 Singles

Coen Buchan & Anthony Parsons – 3rd  place in Grade 7 Doubles

Tier 2:

Justin Henry – 1st place in Grade 6 Singles

Ashton Morton – 2nd place in Grade 6 Singles

Tejas Harvey & Caleb Bennett 2nd place in Grade 7 Doubles

We are proud of all of our athletes and coaches for the competitive play, time, and dedication they put forth this season.   As a result of this competitive play our Tier 2 Boys finished second overall falling only 6 points behind Bliss Carman to capture the Tier 2 Boys Banner.​

​On Tuesday, June 19th Devon Middle School hosted its 9th annual Athletic Ceremony with the following student’s being recipients of our major yearend awards in their respective categories.

Wildcats take Provincial Track and Field Title


Congratulations to the athletes of the Devon Middle School Track and Field team for tying George Street for the team tile at the District meet back on May 31st.  At the District meet the boys won the overall title for the first time in school history.  The boys followed this up with an overall win at Provincials while the girls placed third overall to combine for a total of 423 points edging out George Street Middle School who had 412 points to capture the Provincial Championship.
Mrs. Glenn and Mr. Butler are very proud of these young athletes for another great track season.
