7BC - math and science - April 9th
Hello families of 7B and 7C,

In math class, we will be working on a flip book all this week as our final assessment for geometry transformations. Please see Mrs. Lingley’s Wikispace for a copy of the assignment or email. Your son or daughter would have received a copy in class. Although students have time in class to work on this assignment, it is assigned for homework if they cannot complete it during class time. The due date for both classes is at the beginning of math class on Monday, April 16th.

In science class, students have been working on their Concentrations Lab, which they began with Mrs. Lingley. Most students have completed their prelab and today are finishing up the second day of their labs. In tomorrow’s class, we will review the analyses of their results and will be plotting one group’s data on a graph. Although they are given time in class to work on their labs, students may need to complete their assignments outside of class time. Their finals labs are due at the beginning of science class on Wednesday for 7C and Thursday for 7B. Also, during this class we will have a fun Ice Cream Lab to end the unit on Mixtures and Solutions. If possible, please send your child to school with $2 to cover some of the costs of this fun lab. If for any reason you are unable to cover the $2 cost, please do not worry. He or she will still be able to participate in the lab. Thank you!

As always, this information and supporting documents are made available on my Homework Blog (find me, Mrs. Browne, under Teacher Pages on the Bliss Carman website) and on Mrs. Lingley’s Wikispace (link below). Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
