WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

LITERACY. Read a few chapters from THE ICE MONSTER by David Walliams, read independently for 15 minutes, and worked in our Writing Folders while focusing on our individual Write Goals.

MATH. Spiral Review - Show Me the Money, What's the Number?, Comparing Numbers, Skip Counting by 5's, Before and After, and Two-Digit Subtraction. Continued practicing Multiplication of 2-Digit by 1-Digit Numbers while completing Pirate Products No. 2 Color-by-Number.  We played a round of Multiplication BINGO later in the day.

SCIENCE.  Looked at Garbled Marbles from the BIG BAG OF SCIENCE.  Today's experiment exposed students to the concepts of classification and categorization.

GYM.  Mr Moore handed out Fitness Journal Forms for students to complete over the next twelve days.  Directions are printed on the Forms.  Please return when completed.
