​WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

LITERACY. Read a few chapters from THE ICE MONSTER by David Walliams, read independently for 15 minutes, and worked in our Writing Folders.

MATH.  Reviewed concepts such as Two-Digit Subtraction, Comparing Numbers, Creating Patterns, Repeated Addition, and Place Value. We also practiced our Division Facts while completing a Rocket Ship Color-by-Number.  Finally, we played a few rounds of Multiplication BINGO.

SCIENCE.  Conducted two experiments - one for Growing Clear Crystals, the other Jelly Crystals. The focus was on absorption.  We will look at the results tomorrow.

ART.  Followed directions to draw a Snowy Owl.

HEALTH.  Continued the EMPATHY workshop with Patrick Campbell.

February Hot Lunch Order Forms were sent home today. Due Date: January 24th.
