​WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

MATH. Reviewed concepts such as Show Me the Money, Place Value, Skip Counting, Greater Than/Less Than. Two-Digit Addition, and Comparing Numbers. We then practiced Multiplying 2-Digit by 1-Digit Numbers using the Box Method. Finally, we practiced our Division Facts while completing a Color-by-Number activity sheet. Later in the day, we played a few rounds of Multiplication BINGO.

LITERACY. Read a few more chapters from THE ICE MONSTER by David Walliams, and Read to Self for 15 minutes.

SOCIAL STUDIES. Completed MY BOOK ABOUT CANADA. We will be looking at the ten Provinces and three Territories in the next unit.

ART. Followed directions to draw a picture of GRUMPY CAT.
