​WHAT DID WE DO TODAY?

LITERACY. Listened to a reading of The Ice Monster by David Walliams. Read independently for 15 minutes. Wrote in our Writing Folders (original stories or picture prompt). Focused on our individual Write Goals.

MATH. Reviewed concepts such as Number of the Day, Two-Digit Addition, Place Value, Greater Than/Less Than, and Skip Counting. We also learned how to Multiply a 2-Digit Number by a 1-Digit Number using Box Method Multiplication.

SOCIAL STUDIES. We began a Unit on Canada by recording information and coloring symbols associated with Canada.

HEALTH. Continued our work on Empathy with Patrick Campbell.
