Bonjour! Here's a look at what is going in our classroom this week!

*Show What You Know duo-tangs will be going home on Monday. Please look over each item with your child, sign and return as soon as possible.

*New at home reading books will be going home on Monday. Your child will practice the same book or sight words throughout the entire week. I will collect books / sight words on Friday and send a new book / sight words home on Monday. I cannot send a new book or sight word list home until the previous one has been returned. :)

Upcoming dates:

*Students can vote in our Pumpkin carving contest for a chance to win their favourite pumpkin. Vote Ballots are fifty cents each or three for a dollar.

*Tuesday, October 30: We will be walking to the Playhouse to see the performance of Robinson Crusoe. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather. Children are also welcome to wear their Team Colour Shirt as we have a meeting today.

*Wednesday, October 31: Happy Halloween, Be Safe & Have Fun!

We will be continuing to discuss what a good friend is / does and exploring how we keep our friends (by being kind, caring and respectful).

Mathématiques:

This week we will be diving deeper into our numbers unit. We will be practicing how to count to 100 on a number line as well as a hundreds chart by skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s.
