Here is a look at what is going on in our classroom this week:

Important Dates/ Reminders: 

*Monday, May 1st - Students will travel to Devon Middle School for a tour of the school

*Show What You Know duo-tangs will go home on Monday. Please sign and return them as soon as possible.

*Friday, May 5th - NO SCHOOL for students

Our learning goals:

·         Literacy:

·         Words of the Week - outrageous, impossible, through, different, overwhelmed, communities

o    Our spelling test on the above words is on Thursday

·         Reading Strategy -  Use punctuation (periods, commas)

·         Writing - This week we will be starting our new genre: Persuasive Writing.

·         Math:

·         Outcome - This week we will continue to order and compare fractions as well as related fractions to decimals. 

·         Français:  This week we will be working on describing our pets or animals that we would like to have as pets.

·         Science:  We will be finishing up our unit on Motion and returning back to Social Studies

Homework:

 Book Report ~ Please see attached Memo that was sent home on Monday.
