Exciting News for 2017!

It’s hard to believe that 2016 is almost over – where has the time gone!? The coming New Year has brought an exciting opportunity my way. I feel very fortunate to share with you that beginning in January, I will be taking on the role of a part-time resource teacher at Barkers Point School. This exciting opportunity will help me to develop new skills and strengthen my current practices.  I will still be working in my regular role (as your child’s Grade Two teacher) every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Aimee Christie will be teaching in the classroom every Wednesday morning and Thursday while I am assuming the resource role. Aimee and I will be working together closely to ensure that there is consistency in the classroom and that this transition is as smooth as possible.
