Registering for Kindergarten for the 2021-22 school year:
Kindergarten attendance is compulsory for all children who reach the age of five years on or before December 31st, 2021. Parents, however, may defer entry into Kindergarten until September of 2022 for children who turn five between September 1st and December 31st of 2021. Children who will not reach the age of five on or before December 31st, 2021 are not eligible for admission to kindergarten.
Parents may register their child by visiting this site. Your child’s school will be in touch to set up an appointment to finish the registration process at the school. · proof of child’s age: birth certificate, passport, another piece of ID (e.g. immigration documents or a certificate issued by another Canadian Provincial Government indicating the date of birth)

This proof can be in located on a formal lease, utility bill (power, water, cable, telephone), bank statement, credit card statement, property tax assessment, or building permit that contains the parent’s name and address.
A copy of your child's Medicare number may also be requested to have on file in case of a medical emergency.
