The Seaside Park Elementary School Community Playground officially opened, thanks to an amazing group of volunteers who spent several years and 1000s of volunteer hours to see this project completed.

Congratulations to our own Ms. Sue Ellis-Loparco, from Saint John High School, who was named to the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame! A well-deserved honour recognizing her many years of service to sport, including track and field, speed skating and volleyball.

Congratulations also to our Budget & Accounting Manager Carolann Spear, who was recently awarded the Association of School Business Officials "Vision Award."

The 22nd Annual Marigolds project took place with schools across ASD-S planting marigolds to beautify our public spaces and take pride in the community.

As always, ASD-S had much to celebrate in the month of June. Staff and students recognized many dedicated and well-deserving new retirees, and students celebrated the end of a successful school year, full of hard work and fun.  Congratulations in particular to our high school seniors who are setting out on their next adventure!
