TELUS Technology for Teachers  NB Grant Program

The TELUS team is committed to a philosophy of supporting where they live. For them, it is about working together with the local community partners and their customers to build stronger, healthier communities. TELUS is dedicated to creating a friendly future for the next generation of Canadians and therefore have focused on helping educators unleash the power of technology in the classrooms.

 
For every new smartphone purchased in New Brunswick between August 7, 2013 and February 6, 2014, TELUS donated $25 to the grant program, TELUS Technology for Teachers NB, raising $70,000 to disburse though grants up to $5000 to local teachers to purchase technology for their classrooms.
 
On behalf of the administration and staff of Belleisle Elementary School, I am proud to announce that we are one of the many recipients of the TELUS Technology for Teachers NB grant for $4000, with many thanks to our grant applicant Ms. Robyn McLean (Grade 5 IF/Resource). These funds will allow the school to purchase technology to support and enhance learning in the classroom.
 
We would also like to send our thanks to TELUS and their team for valuing the work we do every day.
