Cafeteria –On the Menu today – Taco Tuesday – soft Taco with Mexican Rice.  Lasagna with garden salad.  Meals come with a chocolate milk, or a Juice Box only.

 

Attention Reach for the Top Players - New grade 9 players will practice today at lunch in Mr. Thorne's room #228. Seniors will practice in Mr. Brideau's room. Grade 10 players will practice after school with M. Hermann. 

 

Recycling:  Anyone interested in joining recycling, please come to the Bio Lab, Room 25l Today at 12:30

 

Renaissance – Could all members of Renaissance please meet on Thursday, September 29th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wrights Room, Room 136 in the Math Wing.  New members are welcome!

 

Rooted Knights (also known as RK)- a weekly student led club designed to encourage strong and rooted faith through Bible study, conversational cafes, community outreach, and other events. We will be having an interest meeting this Thursday Sept.29th at lunch in Ms. Drost room 404. All are warmly welcome.

 

Do you enjoy volunteering, fundraising, and helping those in need?  Philanthropy may be for you!  It’s a new club intending to help around the community and support local charities.  Join us on Tuesday in Mrs. Nicholson-Way’s Room, Room 412 for an information meeting.

Choir - Bluetones rehearsal today after school in Mrs. McIntyre's class, room 122.  Please bring a duo tang or binder for your music.  New members are welcome.  

 

Varsity Boys Soccer won 3 – 0 against Harbor View High.  Jack Williams scored one and Daniel Amarouche scored 2.

 

September 30th is the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.  This Thursday, September 29th we wear orange to remember the many lives lost to residential schools.  Did you know that 1 in 25 indigenous children die in residential schools.

 

Heads up!!! On Thursday morning when you arrive at school you will practice Bus Evacuation. You will get off your bus the Emergency way as you head into school

 

Philosophy Club meets tomorrow at noon in Mr. Standring’s Room, Room 119.

 

This weekend in Cross country Marian McPherson placed in 1st in senior girls  and Michael Cummings 1st in senior boys.  Kaitlyn Marr placed 4th in Junior Girls, and Adam Queen and Jason Zhao also competed.​
