Inside Ride Tour

Every year, another 1,700 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer in Canada. More children die from childhood  cancer each year than all other diseases combined.  New Brunswick children living with cancer most often  travel outside the province for repeated treatments, usually for years.   The expense of these trips has a devastating financial impact on families.
You can help ease this impact by joining The Saint John Inside Ride on October 4th 2014. This fun-filled event sees six member teams "race" on road bikes mounted on stationary trainers. Each team and their volunteers raise a minimum of $1000 in pledges to participate.  Teams pedal to fun, up-beat music and compete for medals in spirit, fundraising, costume and mileage. 100% of donations raised go directly to the NB Lions Sick Children’s Fund.  The Fund is able to quickly provide financial assistance  to help cover the costs of travel, lodging, food, parking, and other costs incurred during treatment that are not covered by Medicare. Your school team(s) can make a real difference for area families.
