KVHS Book Club – The KVHS Book club is having its first meeting Thursday at lunch in Room 246 for all interested students.  See Mr. Jones for more information.

Renaissance –Could all members of Renaissance please meet on Thursday, September 23 at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.  New members are always welcome.

Reach for the Top - There will be a practice for grade 10, 11, and 12 players today at lunch in Mr. Brideau's room.  New players are welcome.  There is no grade 9 practice today.

Workroom – Attention all Crusaders!  Every week, new part time jobs are posted on the Student Job Board inside the Workroom.  Part time jobs are great for students who want to learn new skills while earning extra money during the school year.  If you need help preparing your Resume the Workroom is here to help you.

Mountain Biking Club –There will be a Meeting for all interested in a Mountain Biking Club on TODAY at 12:30 in Mrs. Lamont’s Room, Room 002.

Chess Club - The Chess Club is changing to become the Board Game Club.  Come out and learn and play new creative games.   The Board Game Club meets on Wednesday at lunch.  If you are interested, come out TODAY   at lunch for the first meeting in Mr. Gilbert’s room, Room 230.

Sports - Big win for you Senior Girls Soccer team last night as they defeated Sussex High School 5-0.  Scoring for KV were Meghan Whalen, Hilary Sisk, Sophie Magee, and Anita Johnson with 2.  Molly McFarlane defended in net perfectly for her first shut out of the season.  Well done ladies! 

In soccer action today, we would like to wish the very best of luck to the Sr Boys as they host Harbour View.  The Jr Boys game for tonight has been postponed. We will be making this up at a later date.

Could teachers please excuse the softball team at 3 today, as they travel to play SJHS?

Owen Lavigne is asked to see Mr. Rice in the gym immediately following these          announcements.

Sophie Ryall, Isabelle Bordage and Maddy Joyce are asked to come to the office at the present time as well.

Finally, The Boys Basketball Club will be starting soon. This club has nothing to do with school teams. It is simply an opportunity for individuals who love the game and would like a chance to play it a bit more. If you are interested in signing up, you MUST see Mr. Rice in his office with a proof of double vaccination in hand. Action will start as early as this coming Sunday at 8:30 pm. Ladies, please be patient, as we are in the process of planning the same thing for you.
