St Stephen Middle Schools Language Arts Student's Work Published

Students in Grade 7 worked on a poetry unit and created their own poems.  One of the Grade 7 outcomes is learning about different types of media and students, with the help of the Technology mentor, Heidi Brown, were able to record themselves.  One of their teachers, Miss Anderson uploaded their poems to “Record a Poem” on the Poetryfoundation.org site.  All poetry must be approved by the foundation before being published. Within a week, students’ poetry had been approved.    Students are currently working on podcasts and photostories to represent their work.    You can check Mrs. Deering’s class webpage for more of the students work as it gets published.  Until then, click the following link to listen to their podcasts.
