S. Malachy's Reads 2014 - Celebrating Literacy Success

St. Malachy’s Memorial High School was proud to host award winning young adult fiction author Lissa Price on Tuesday April 29.  The entire school community read Lissa’s debut novel “Starters” during the month of April.  Lissa captivated our collective attention during a school wide assembly and then proceeded to meet with our student selection committee, sign books during the lunch hour and lead two workshops for avid readers and aspiring authors.  STM would like to celebrate the members of the literacy committee and the student book selection committee for bringing this event to life!  Special thanks to Susan Tipper, PALS High School Coordinator, for securing support from our sponsors – UNBSJ, Stantec and Wyndham Worldwide.  We are already gearing up for STM Reads 2015!
