Hair Donation Campaign

Hair Donation Campaign – On Wednesday, May 21st, Mrs. McKeown, grade 5 teacher, will have her hair cut along with students at a school assembly.  The non-profit organization, My Brother's Keeper, provides free wigs to Canadian children under 16 years of age suffering with cancer, through their Can Donate Hair Program. They accept a minimum hair donation of 8 inches including bleached, dyed and gray hair.  Hairdressers from the Cutting Edge in Grand Bay will graciously be cutting and then styling hair afterwards! Students, teachers, parents, grandparents, etc. are invited to join our celebration if you are interested in being a donor as well.  Please call Mme Deschênes at 757-2020 if you or your child would like to participate.
