KVHS Morning Announcements

EXAM INFO
*IMPORTANT: If there is a snow day during exam week, we will write the next two exams on the next day of school. The missed exam in the morning and the next one in the afternoon.
Those students who may require an alternate setting to write their exams, sign up sheets are now available in the hallway by the guidance office.
 
CAFETERIA
·         Chicken quesadilla
·         Spaghetti and meat sauce
 
GUIDANCE
·         The deadline for applications to the New Brunswick Teen Apprentice program is January 18th. Please see Mrs. Levesque in the guidance office for information on how to apply. Students interested in a career in skilled trades may be eligible for up to 3 summers of hands on work.
 
·         Could all students who have applied online to NBTAP please see Mrs. Levesque in the guidance office at break or lunch time today.
 
·         Two new scholarships have been added to the guidance department list. One for students attending UNB and one for students pursuing an education in the arts.
 
YEARBOOK
·         Attention all grads! Your advisory teacher now has your grad quote forms. Please be sure to complete the form before February 2nd in order to have your write up in the yearbook!
 
CLUBS
·         Art help will be offered Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week in Ms. Nicholson’s class room 141.
 
·         Reminder for the Cyber Titan Competition on Tuesday after school
 
MUSIC/DRAMA
·         Jazz Band will be rehearsing after school today in the music room.
 
·         Attention Blue Tones members: tomorrow’s rehearsal is for baritones only. We will meet at 3:45pm in the rehearsal room.
 
EVENTS
·         Could everyone interested in performing in tomorrow’s study zone coffee house please meet at the blocks directly following announcements.
 
SPORTS
·         Attention all girls interested in playing rugby this year! Girls touch rugby will be starting this Sunday January 20th from 12-1pm. It’s a great way to learn how to play and get ready for the season. See you there!
 
·         Could the junior and senior girls basketball teams come to a meeting in room 117 at the beginning of lunch.
 
·         Staff yoga at 3:45pm today! Namaste!!
