Public Health is looking at holding another Covid -19 vaccination Clinic at KVHS.  If you are interested in attending for a first or 2nd vaccine, please come to the office to sign up.

 

The Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner will be here today at approximately 1:30. 

You can text her at 333-2113 for an appointment Thursday morning or put your name in the box on her door in the Guidance area.

Book Club - On KVHS Book Club will be meeting today in room 246. New members are welcome!

 

Sports - Tough 2-1 loss suffered by our Sr Boys soccer team, last night in Hampton. We are ready to rebound in Regionals next week.

 

Congratulations to the Sr G Soccer team on their convincing 8-0 win over the Harbour View last night!!! We need a strong game tonight in Sussex, to solidify our hold on 1st place in the South!!! 

 

Basketball lists have been posted outside the gym office. Congratulations to those making through to next round.

 

Debate Team - Debate Team will meet Friday at lunch in Mrs. Toner’s room, Room 120

 

Reach for the Top - Grade 9 Reach for the Top players practice in Mr. Brideau's room at lunch while Grade 10 players practice in Mr. Thorne's room.  After school, all grade 10-11-12 players are invited to attend in Mr. Brideau's room.

 

Renaissance - Could all members of Renaissance please meet on today, October 21st at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.

 

Cyber Titan – The 1st Cyber Titan competition is this Friday.  We still have a few spaces available.  No experience necessary.  Learn as you play.  See Mrs. LeBlanc in room 285.

 

Tutoring - Attention Students – If you need help with learning or class work, book an appointment with a Tutor today.  Students can sign up in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.

 

Hey KV! Do you have an interest in learning more about Native culture? We will be meeting weekly as a group to explore Indigenous History, stories, art, and so much more, including guest speakers and workshops. Come and see Mrs. McCord anytime in room 141 if you are interested in joining the Indigenous Culture Club. Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 26th.
