A reminder that orders for school photos are due this week.

This Friday, November 20^th, there is no school for students as it is a Professional Development day for all staff in schools k-8. During part of the day, teachers will be working on report cards. Report cards will be sent home on December 1. Please read November’s newsletter for important information about this first report card.

Parent/teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4. This year, all schools will be offering a new, virtual format for Parent-Teacher conferences, using Microsoft Teams. This is a secure online connection between you and your child’s teacher that is easy to use and book in advance. The booking site for our school can be found here:

To book, use the arrow to move the calendar from November to December. Choose either Thursday, Dec. 3 or Friday Dec. 4. Choose the teacher that you would like to meet with in the drop down menu, select the time you would like to meet with them, fill in the required information and click “Book” at the bottom of the page. You will then receive an email that confirms your booking and provides you a link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting at your scheduled time. A reminder email will also be sent with this information the day before your appointment.

If you would like to attend the virtual meeting using your mobile device, we recommend downloading the Microsoft Teams app in advance.

If you do not have access to a device to take part in a virtual Parent-Teacher conference, or would prefer to have a telephone interview, please contact your child’s teacher and they will make arrangements to book a time that you can speak with them by phone.
