​Social Studies  ​The Panther is Mr. Clancy’s 9th annual historical detective adventure. This special edition is written in English so that all SMS Social Studies students can join in the fun and earn the famous “Secret Agent of the Year Trophy.” Shockingly, the Panther is a mysterious international art and jewel thief who works at SMS! Your junior historian will have so much fun solving the mystery they’ll never know they are advancing Social Studies curriculum outcomes for grades 6, 7, and 8. Yes, how diabolical! Indeed, students will strut their literary skills while they learn about history, art, and historical analysis, all the while weighing evidence and de-constructing the mystery before the Panther completes the heist of the century. The mystery can be found on your Microsoft Teams social studies site, or click here for this week’s chapter.

​Math (English and French) ​This week we will continue to review concepts you've already seen. There are a couple of ways you can submit your work for feedback. Check in Teams for an assignment for which you can fill in your answers. You can take a picture/scan your work and email it to your teacher. Please do your best to complete the practice sheets​ and if you have questions email your teacher or ask in Teams. We are looking for more interaction in Teams so check in in your classes.

Mme Duncan has posted a few videos from her class meetings with 7E in the Class Notebook for her FI math classes covering integers (les nombres entiers), you can find them in the Class Content section -> vidéos.​

Home challenge: Each family member takes a few minutes to jot down three items in the room whose length they predict will add up to one meter. Then take five minutes to measure the items, record their lengths and then add them together. Report your results. Which family member came closest to one meter?
