Boys Hockey



Any boys interested in trying out for our Boys Hockey Team are reminded that
waiver forms and tryouts fees are due on Tuesday Sept 20th to Ms Shea. Failure
to hand in fees or forms will result in you not being able to tryout for the
team.

Shea if you have any questions.

 

 Key Club

 

 Any students interested
in attending the Key Leader Leadership Conference in Gagetown on Sept. 23-25th
please see Mrs. Peddle in the Learning Commons today.

 

 The cost is $25 and the
leadership training will focus on the five key concepts of service leadership:
Integrity, Respect, Growth, Community and Excellence.

 

 
 

Transportation is
provided to and from Saint John. This is a fun weekend and looks great on a
resume. 

 

 

Boys Basketball

 

Boys interested in playing basketball can attend open gym sessions
on Monday and Wednesday from 3:45-5:00.




 




 

Class of 2017

 

 
 

The Grad Class Executive
is planning the first Grad Event of the year. We are having our annual
"Embrace your Childhood Party" on Tuesday, September 27th from 6:00
pm to 8:30 pm in the gym. This event is a fun filled evening and is a great way
to kick off your Grad Year!

 




 

The event costs $10. You
must sign up and pay Mr. Gaudet in room 121 by Friday, September 23rd.
There will be NO SIGN UPS after this time.

 

 
 

Girls Hockey

 

There will be an information meeting for Girls in grades
9-12 interested in trying out for our girls hockey team today at 12:30 in
the Auditorium. 


 

 
 

Tryout dates and Program Overview will be discussed. 

 

 
 

 
 

GSA

 

Students interested in
joining St. Malachy's GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) are welcome to come to our
first meeting on Tuesday at lunch in Room 173.




 

 
 

Cross Country Team

 

 
 

There is a cross country
meet at Woolastook Park this Tuesday, September 20th after school.  Could
all members of the cross country team please meet in the gym Tuesday at
the beginning of lunch for a very brief meeting.

 

 
 

 
 

Makerspace Challenge

 

 

 

The first Makerspace Challenge of the year is almost here.
 Bring a team of up to three on Tuesday, September 20th to the Learning
Commons at lunch.  You will be building straw towers. The highest towers
will be put on display.  

 

 
 

This is a great opportunity to get involved and have some fun!

 

 

 

Chess Club

 

 The
first meeting of the chess club will be Wednesday September 21st in room 213 at
lunch.  Any students interested in playing chess this year is welcomed, no
experienced needed.  Please see M. Dupont for any questions.
