Announcements Tuesday March 19th Badminton There will be two badminton team practices this week. The first will be on Wednesday and the second on Friday. Both will take place right after school at 3:45. Leadership Training Camp The Royal Canadian Legion is offering for students in grades 10 and 11 to take part in their 54th Annual Leadership Training Camp running July 14 - July 21. You are given many opportunities to learn, to assume leadership responsibilities and to participate in a wide variety of vigorous physical activities. If you are interest in this summer camp please come to the guidance center for an application. Advanced Placement Exams A reminder to AP students that exam orders are due to Mr. Davis by this Friday. House Committee for Musical There are still shifts available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for students who are looking for volunteer hours and would like to work on the house committee.  Shifts are an hour and a quarter in length and involve assisting patrons in finding their seats in the theatre.  If you are interested, please see Mr. Davis in the office. Chess Players Wanted Any student no matter of gender or grade that is seriously interested in representing our school at the annual District Regional Chess Tournament on March 23/2013 are asked to see Mr. Gormley to file your registration form. Mr. Gormley can be found in the Co-op office Room 216 during the noon break. The deadline for the registration is Tuesday March 19. Musical Tickets On Sale The first performance of our musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is this Wednesday! Tickets are on sale for $15.00 each in the main office or at the Butcher's Daughter in the City Market. Come support the cast and crew Wednesday, March 20th, Thursday March 21st, Friday March 22nd at 8:00 pm and Saturday with a show at 2:00 pm and our final show at 8:00 pm. (Monday-Friday) Rugby There will be a mandatory information session for all male and female rugby players for this season on Wednesday in the auditorium at 12:30. New female players for this season are asked to attend a training session at 8:15 on Tuesday evening. Please note the later time slot. Pennies for Penicillin!  Saints in Action is doing a penny drive in support of Free the Children!  So far our school has raised over $15,000 to build a school and drill a well in Kenya.  The next pillar of our "Adopt a Village" program is the health pillar.  The money raised for the health pillar focuses on improving access to health education and basic health services.  We’ll take any money –don’t limit yourselves to pennies!  This fundraiser will be a competition between period 3 classes... a pizza party for the period 3 class who brings in the most money by March 27th.  A jar will be dropped off today during period 3.  Thank you in advance!
