Hi Everyone, sorry about the late announcements. If you could, can you please ensure you check the announcements and notify students of which announcements were not made in the video announcements this morning? They shouldn't deviate much anyways. Announcements Friday March 15th Leadership Training Camp The Royal Canadian Legion is offering for students in grades 10 and 11 to take part in their 54th Annual Leadership Training Camp running July 14 - July 21. You are given many opportunities to learn, to assume leadership responsibilities and to participate in a wide variety of vigorous physical activities. If you are interest in this summer camp please come to the guidance center for an application. Make-up for the musical Anyone who has signed up for the make-up crew is asked to see Mrs. Comeau-Roper either Friday or Monday at noon. This won't take long, 10 minutes or so, but it's important that you touch base with her. For Grads attending UNBSJ in September: UNBSJ "Transition to your Future” Open House Thursday, March 14th from 5:30 to 8:30 This event includes a campus tour, meet and greet with faculty and staff, and a 40 minute presentation for students (and parents if they would like to attend) titled “Great Expectations: Preparing for Your First Year at University” RSVP by March 13 for a complimentary gift package at tellmemore@unb.ca<mailto:tellmemore@unb.ca> Questions?... see Ms Craft in the Guidance Centre Grads Grads, have you paid your Grad Fee yet ? It is now due. You can pay your Grad Fee to Mrs. O'Leary. Her office is located beside room 114 in the main hall. (Mon- Fri) Cultural Fusion This Friday all members of Cultural Fusion are invited to attend a bowling and pizza event at 4:30. If you are interested in attending, please let Mrs. Melanson know as soon as possible (please read all week). New York Trip Your five dollar tip money needs to be collected as soon as possible. Please see Mrs. Comeau-Roper about this. Also, all forms need to be in for Heather at Freedom Tours in order to ensure your passage into the States. Also please ensure you have submitted your room lists!! Chess Players Wanted Any student no matter of gender or grade that is seriously interested in representing our school at the annual District Regional Chess Tournament on March 23/2013 are asked to see Mr. Gormley to file your registration form. Mr. Gormley can be found in the Co-op office Room 216 during the noon break. The deadline for the registration is Tuesday March 19. Girls Rugby Friday's training session for new players has been cancelled because of the volleyball tournament this weekend. The next practice for all players will take place Sunday from 12-2. All rugby players for this season are required to attend their annual rugby information session regardless if they have played previous sports in other seasons. This meeting will take place Wednesday of next week at lunch in the auditorium. Please see Ms. Trenholm in 002 if you have any questions.
