Announcements Thursday March 14th Lucky Charms Breakfast and Green Day In lieu of St. Patrick's Day, the student council will be providing a Lucky Charms for any students interested on Friday morning before classes in the cafeteria. To take part students must simply purchase the milk for their cereal and show up! Cereal and bowls will be provided. Also, don't forget to wear green on Friday for our annual St. Patrick's Day assembly! Leadership Training Camp The Royal Canadian Legion is offering for students in grades 10 and 11 to take part in their 54th Annual Leadership Training Camp running July 14 - July 21. You are given many opportunities to learn, to assume leadership responsibilities and to participate in a wide variety of vigorous physical activities. If you are interest in this summer camp please come to the guidance center for an application. Boys Rugby Practices will resume this coming Thursday, March 14th from 8:15pm to 10pm in the gym. If you have any questions/concerns, please see Mr. Abbott in the Biology Lab (Room 240). Musical Tickets On Sale Tickets for our musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying are on sale for $15.00 each in the main office or at the Butcher's Daughter in the City Market. Come support the cast and crew Wednesday, March 20th, Thursday March 21st, Friday March 22nd at 8:00 pm and Saturday with a show at 2:00 pm and our final show at 8:00 pm. (Monday-Friday) For Grads attending UNBSJ in September: UNBSJ "Transition to your Future” Open House Thursday, March 14th from 5:30 to 8:30 This event includes a campus tour, meet and greet with faculty and staff, and a 40 minute presentation for students (and parents if they would like to attend) titled “Great Expectations: Preparing for Your First Year at University” RSVP by March 13 for a complimentary gift package at tellmemore@unb.ca<mailto:tellmemore@unb.ca> Questions?... see Ms Craft in the Guidance Centre Grads Grads, have you paid your Grad Fee yet ? It is now due. You can pay your Grad Fee to Mrs. O'Leary. Her office is located beside room 114 in the main hall. (Mon- Fri) Cultural Fusion This Friday all members of Cultural Fusion are invited to attend a bowling and pizza event at 4:30. If you are interested in attending, please let Mrs. Melanson know as soon as possible (please read all week). Reach for the Top There will be a Reach for the Top practice today at lunch in room 232. All new members and trivia buffs are welcome to attend! New York Trip The hotels require the room lists, and several students have not submitted their room mate requests. Please do so today as the lists will be submitted to Freedom Tours tomorrow. Chess Players Wanted Any student no matter of gender or grade that is seriously interested in representing our school at the annual District Regional Chess Tournament on March 23/2013 are asked to see Mr. Gormley to file your registration form. Mr. Gormley can be found in the Co-op office Room 216 during the noon break. The deadline for the registration is Tuesday March 19. Girls Rugby Friday's training session for new players has been cancelled because of the volleyball tournament this weekend. The next practice for all players will take place Sunday from 12-2. Please see Ms. Trenholm in 002 if you have any questions. Football Meeting Any student who is interested in playing football for St. Malachy's next year please attend meeting on Thursday during lunch, 12:45 in the auditorium. Coaches will be present to discuss the school's program.
