Announcements Wednesday, February 6, 2012 Attention Grads Grads, our next Grad Event will be a Sea Dogs Game on Friday, February 15th. Tickets cost $8 and you must see Mr. Gaudet to book your ticket by February 11th. Badminton Tryouts Sr and Jr Badminton try-outs start this Friday @ 3:45 Grad Clothing Grads, did you miss out on picking up some Class of 2013 clothing? There is still some clothing left which will be for sale in the main hall all week (Mon-Fri) Cheerleading The next cheerleading practice will take place Thursday after school. Call For Speakers and Artists TEDx Youth @Rue Princess is a TED Talks-related independently organized event to be held in Saint John in April of this year. If you are interested in talking about issues facing youth in our city this could be your chance. If you are an artist and would like to be involved this is a great opportunity for you as well. For more information go see Mr. Lenarczyk in room 213. STM BOYS RUGBY Attention all returning and interested boys looking to play rugby this year. Practices will begin this coming Sunday, February 10th from 2pm to 4pm in the gym. Students are reminded to wear their gym attire to practice. Grade 9 students are strongly encouraged to come out and play for the junior team this year. If you have any questions/concerns, please see Mr. Abbott in the Biology Lab (Room 240). STM Girls Rugby Training for this year’s team will begin this Sunday, Feb 10th from 12-2pm. All ages and experience levels are encouraged and welcome to attend. Please see Ms. Trenholm in room 002 if you have any questions. Religion choir We will be meeting this Thursday during study hall to rehearse for the Ash Wednesday service next week. See you in room 031 Thursday morning. Grads Oulton College will be in the main hall on Thursday, February 7 during the noon hour. Drop by for information on available programs Key Club There will be a Key Club Meeting today at the start of lunch in Room 114 (Ms. McGrath's Room) Boys' Hockey Our boys' hockey team looks to improve our record with four games this week. Wednesday evening at 6:30 at the LBR, the Saints take on St. Stephen. On Thursday, we travel to Hampton for a 7:15 start, and the puck drops at 7:00 in St. Stephen Saturday night. The Saints play a special make-up game against Sussex this Sunday evening at 7:00 at Harbour Station. Come out and support your Saints for some high flying action this week! (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) Scotland Trip There will be a meeting for all students going on the New York trip and their parents/guardians on Thursday evening, February 21 at 7 pm in the Learning Commons. The tour director from Freedom Tours will be present and it is extremely important that everyone attend.
