Announcements Tuesday, February 5, 2012 Attention Grads Grads, our next Grad Event will be a Sea Dogs Game on Friday, February 15th. Tickets cost $8 and you must see Mr. Gaudet to book your ticket by February 11th. March Break in Scotland There will be a parents meeting for those students going to Scotland and Ireland on the March break. The meeting will take place on February 11th at 7 pm in the learning commons. Badminton Tryouts Sr and Jr Badminton try-outs start this Friday @ 3:45 Grad Clothing Grads, did you miss out on picking up some Class of 2013 clothing? There is still some clothing left which will be for sale in the main hall all week (Mon-Fri) Cheerleading Attention all STM cheerleaders. Practice is cancelled for today, Tuesday, February 5th. We will have our next practice on Thursday afterschool. Call For Speakers and Artists TEDx Youth @Rue Princess is a TED Talks-related independently organized event to be held in Saint John in April of this year. If you are interested in talking about issues facing youth in our city this could be your chance. If you are an artist and would like to be involved this is a great opportunity for you as well. For more information go see Mr. Lenarczyk in room 213. Saints in Action The 3rd bake-off was another success! Thanks again to the teachers who donated their time and baking ingredients for such a great cause! It was a close competition this time... the winner was only in the lead by 2 votes... so, without further delay... the winner is......................................... Ms. Fowler! There are still some chocolate macaroons left so if you didn't get a chance to sample them yesterday they will be on sale again today in the main hall - 25 cents each! (Tues) STM BOYS RUGBY Attention all returning and interested boys looking to play rugby this year. Practices will begin this coming Sunday, February 10th from 2pm to 4pm in the gym. Students are reminded to wear their gym attire to practice. Grade 9 students are strongly encouraged to come out and play for the junior team this year. If you have any questions/concerns, please see Mr. Abbott in the Biology Lab (Room 240). STM Girls Rugby Training for this year’s team will begin this Sunday, Feb 10th from 12-2pm. All ages and experience levels are encouraged and welcome to attend. Please see Ms. Trenholm in room 002 if you have any questions.
