Swim Team There is an important swim team meeting today at 12:30 in the gym lobby. This meeting is about upcoming Regionals and Provincials. (Friday) Hockey Meeting There will be a mandatory meeting today for the Boys Hockey Team at the beginning of lunch in room 217 (Mr. Carlson's room). (Friday) Ski Team! Winter is coming Saints and it's time to think snow! All students interested in joining the St. Malachy's Ski Team are encouraged to attend a meeting in Mrs. Touchie's room, 232, Tuesday at lunch. Please note that space is limited to thirty students this year. If you cannot attend the meeting on Tuesday please let Mrs. Touchie know. (Tuesday) Debate In preparation for Debatefest, our annual debate tournament which will take place on Sunday, 18 November 2012 right here at St. Malachy's, the debate team is gearing up its practices next week. First of all, members of the team are asked to see Mr. Lenarczyk today, Friday 9 November, to find out some details about the event. Secondly, practices next week will be on Tuesday after school, Wednesday at lunch and after school, Thursday at lunch and after school, and Friday at lunch. All meetings are in room 213. We need to get ready to beat Saint John High, so attendance at as many of these sessions as possible is mandatory! The team is also looking for students to volunteer as timekeepers and speakers (script readers) for the event. Please come see Mr. Lenarczyk if you're interested in that. IMPORTANT CABARET COMMITTEE MEETING There will be an important meeting for all cabaret committee members on Tuesday November 13th in Room 031 at 12:21! Please bring any large boxes that you have collected to the meeting. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. MacDonald in room 205. read until (Tuesday) Grad Announcements Grads, there will be an information meeting Tuesday, November 13th at 12:30 in Mr. Gaudet's room for those students interested in attending the Grad Religion Retreat. Please note that attendance is a must and that there is limited space. (Monday- Friday) Grads, it is now time to sign up for Grad Photos. The sign up sheet is posted outside the main office. Only one sheet/date will be posted. When that sheet/date is booked then the next sheet/date will be posted. (Monday- Friday) Grads, don't forget to sign up for our Boston Pizza Night taking place November 14th at 6:00. You must sign up with Mr. Gaudet to reserve a place. Space is limited. ( Monday- Friday) Tin Can Challenge Please bring in your Non-perishable food items to your study hall classes Saints. All of the food will go to help local food banks. There will be a structure building Study Hall Challenge on Nov. 15th. May the best homeroom win! Remember most sought after items are Cans of Vegetables, Cans of Meat or Fish, and boxes of spaghetti. Yellow labels are best but we will take anything! Every little bit helps! (until Friday) Yearbook Sales Yearbooks are on sale this week at lunch in room 176. Buy them early for a discounted price of $45 before the regular price returns next month! STM School Clothing REMEMBER ALL MONEY AND ORDER FORMS are due by TODAY! Bring all order forms to the Learning Commons at Lunch Empty Stocking fund Sabotage!! Getting ready to dump all of your change Saints!! Today is the last day for Sabotage!
