Religion Choir
Attention all students who signed up for the Music Ministry course during religion/study hall. There will be a practice today (Tuesday) at lunch in room 031. We will be practicing the songs for this Thursday's opening Mass. Be there!

Attention Girl Basketball Players
There will a quick meeting on Thursday Oct 18th in Room 162 at 12:50 for any girs interested in playing Jr. or Sr. Basketball this coming year. If you have any questions please see Miss Shea in the gym office. {Wednesday and Thursday}
STM BOOK DRIVE 2012 - Starts TODAY!
We are trying to increase our contemporary (i.e. NEW) book collection the Learning Commons. Help us by bringing in your used books and donating them to the school. Your previously loved books can bring new joy to readers here at STM. We are looking for fiction and non-fiction pleasure reading material. Sports biographies, sci-fi series, historical fiction, and teen drama are all areas we would like to see grow in our collection.
Homeroom Competition: The class that scores the most points by bringing in books to donate to the library wins bragging rights and a special treat!
Rules: Books should be published in the last 10 years and be of high interest to teen readers.
Scoring:
1 point = any book published in the last 10 years
2 points = any book on the list provided with your homeroom kit
*10 bonus points, in addition to the above, for bringing in an entire series.

Debate Team
The Debate team is preparing for a tournament at Saint John High School on October 20 and therefore next week our meetings will be: Monday at lunch, Tuesday after school, Wednesday at lunch and after school, Thursday at lunch and after school. All meetings are in room 213. Even if you cannot go to the tournament please come to the meetings because we need your help! If you are going to the tournament, definitely come to all the meetings! (Friday-Thursday of next week :-)
Yearbook Sales
It's that time of year already, Saints! Yearbooks are on sale this week at lunch in Room 176. Buy them early for a discounted price of $45 before the regular price returns next month! If you have any questions about ordering, stop by Room 176. (all week)
Grad Class
Hey Grads, it is time to sign up for out next Grad Event. We are having a "Pizza, Movie, Swim Night" on Wednesday October 24th. We will meet in the cafeteria at 6:00 for pizza then we we'll watch a movie in the auditorium. Then we'll go to the Aquatic Center for a swim from 9:15-10:15. Cost is $10 and you must sign and pay Mr. Gaudet by 3:40 on Friday.
Reach for the Top
There will be Reach for the Top practice in room 232 today at lunch. New members are always welcome!
Boys Basketball
Sr. and Jr. boys Basketball tryouts begin this Sunday from 1-3 and Monday after school from 3:45 to 5:00
