Thursday May 10th Grads Grads, the Grad Fees are now over due. We need you to pay your fee so we can pay for YOUR Grad Activities. New Scholarship Applications There are new scholarship and bursary applications arriving at the Guidance Office. Graduates should be checking for regularly. New this week: Saint John Energy Bursary: $1000 to a St Malachy’s student studying Electrical Engineering or Business Administration at university. Bayview Credit Union Scholarship: Valued at $ 1000 Acadia Broadcasting Company Scholarship for Music valued at $1000 FACEPAINTERS WANTED! Can you facepaint at the Soap Box Durby? Help make Saint John children smile as you paint their faces! Please see Ms. Sheehan in art studio 173 this week. We need 12 saints to volunteer for a couple of hours on May 25th, Saturday. Thank you! Cultural Fusion We will be having our end of the year party next Monday after school in the Food Lab. All students are welcome to attend even if you haven't been to a meeting in a while. Please bring along a snack that represents your culture (or just tastes good)! Eastern College A representative from Eastern College will be the main hall today during the lunch hour. Students are invited to drop by for information on available programs. Jr "M", "M:, and Winged "M" Applications Applications for students applying for Junior "M", "M", or Winged "M" are now available in the gym office. All applications must be returned by Wednesday May 29th. If you have any questions please see Ms. Shea in the gym office. {Please read from May 8th-May 29th} Customer Appreciation Week It is Customer Appreciation Time in the Cafeteria. Spend $5 or more and you will receive a ballot to go into a draw for 2 movie tickets along with 2 large popcorn and pop. The draw will be held Monday afternoon. STM BOYS RUGBY Both the senior & junior boys rugby teams will be playing this coming Saturday, May 11th against Saint John High at Hazen White Field. Game time for the seniors is 1pm while the juniors play at 3pm. Come out & support your boys rugby teams Saints! Players are reminded of practice today at PES field from 4:30pm to 6pm after school. For those players who ordered rugby hoodies, they are in. Please see Mr. Abbott in the Biology Lab to pickup your hoodie. Grad Event Grads, we are having our next Grad event on May 22nd. We are having a "Photo Scavenger Hunt" and there is a limit to the number of Grads who can participate in this event. The cost is $10 so sign with Mr. Gaudet ASAP. Notice to Grade 11 students who have chosen Co-op for next year. A reminder to look at the interview list for time and day of your appointment. If unable to attend for any reason, please inform Mr. Gormley or Mme Sterritt so a new interview time can be set up. New Brunswick Community College Information Booth A representative will be in the main hall during the noon hour on Thursday May 9. Interested students are invited to drop by for information on available programs.
