Announcements Monday April 15th Boys Rugby Players are reminded that today is the deadline to order a rugby hoodie from Mr. Abbott in Room 240 (Biology Lab). Rugby practices this week will be today from 4:30pm to 6pm at PES field, but there will be no practice Tuesday. Practices will resume again on Wednesday & Thursday of this week, with RugbyFest kicking off on Friday for our senior team. Come out and support your Senior Boys Rugby Team this weekend at RugbyFest 2013. Girls Rugby Your next training sessions will take place today, Tuesday and Thursday at PES at 5:30. Please dress appropriately. Please submit your forms to Ms. Trenholm and your $75 fee to Ms. Shea. Are you interested in doing a trade after high school? Come to a presentation on Apprenticeship Students in grades 11 and 12 are invited to an information session by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour. The presentation will be on Wednesday, April 17 during period 2. Students must sign up in advance at the Guidance Centre to attend the session. Grads Grad Fees are due to Mrs. O'Leary by April 30th, pease get them in as soon as possible! Field Hockey Camp The week of July 8th UNBSJ is offering a Field Hockey Camp. Stephen Goosen who is the current St. FX coach will focus on improving skills. If you are interested please come to the guidance center for more information. Religion Choir Members Are reminded of our practice this Wednesday at lunch in room 031. This will be our final practice before closing Mass next week (Monday-Wednesday) Pay It Forward Any students interested in helping out with Pay It Forward day are asked to come to a brief meeting in Mr. Coombs' room (Room 236) on Wednesday at lunch. (Wednesday) STM Reads We are very excited for this year's STM Reads which will launch Tuesday April 16th, 2013 and continue until Tuesday May 7th, 2013. Each day after hearing the clue, you can guess the name of the book by filling out a ballot in the main office to win a $50 Apple Card or a $50 Indigo card. The winner will be revealed at the STM Launch Assembly on April 16th. Also that day, each student will receive a ticket for a chance to win an iPad mini if they have the winning ticket when it is drawn at the assembly. Keep a look out for the new posters around the school that feature the STM Reads Saint and will help us as we continue to promote literacy!
