Saints In Action Cafe


Just a reminder that Saints in Action is selling coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, and cappuccinos in the Learning
Commons every morning and every day at lunch.  All proceeds go to Free the Children to provide medical supplies to a community in Kenya.  (Thursday, Friday)


 


Tin Can Challenge


Please bring in your Non-perishable food items to your study hall classes Saints. All of the food will go to help local
food banks. There will be a structure building Study Hall Challenge on Nov. 15th. May the best homeroom win! Remember most sought after items are Cans of Vegetables, Cans of Meat or Fish, and boxes of spaghetti. Yellow labels are best but we will
take anything! Every little bit helps!

Teachers Remembrance Day Choir Practice is Monday Afterschool.


 


Study Skills in the Learning Commons


With midterms approaching, Mrs. Bonnar is assisting students with study and test taking skills in the Learning Commons. If
you would like help, please visit her in the morning from 8am until 9am and after school until 4:30pm or speak with her to arrange another time.


 


EAL Homework Club/Cultural Fusion


EAL Homework Club has a new and improved name - we are now called Cultural Fusion. Come check us out on Mondays after school in the learning
commons if you want to meet friends and learn about different cultures!

Empty Stocking fund Sabotage!!


It’s that time for year again SAINTS! It’s our annual Homeroom Sabotage fundraiser to raise money for the Empty Stocking Fund. Members of the SRC will
be around this morning to explain the rules. The top three classes that sabotages the most wins ICE CREAM for their homeroom. Make sure you have your strategies in play Sabotage ends Nov 9th!



 


STM BOOK DRIVE 2012



We are trying to increase our contemporary (i.e. NEW) book collection the Learning Commons.  Help us by bringing in your used books and
donating them to the school.  Your previously loved books can bring new joy to readers here at STM.  We are looking for fiction and non-fiction pleasure reading material.  Sports biographies, sci-fi series, historical fiction, and teen drama are all areas
we would like to see grow in our collection.
