Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities August 28th, 2014 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Thank you to all FHS families who were able to join us last night for our PSSC Elections and Open House.  It was a great night and we were so happy to see all of you.  Thank you to our PALs at Canaport LNG for providing us with a celebratory BBQ to follow our event. Please keep in mind as you are planning lunches and snacks for this school year, that all ASD-S facilities are Nut and Scent Free.  It is very important that we all respect this policy as it is critical to ensuring the health of all of our students and staff.  Thank you! The first day for students is Tuesday, September 2nd.  Half of our new Kindergarten students will start on Tuesday and the other half will start on Wednesday (Walkers on Tuesday and Bussers on Wednesday).  All Grade 1-8 students will start a regular first day on Tuesday the 2nd. New K students will gather in the Elementary Library, new grade 6 students will gather in the gym.  All other 1-8 students will go to their last year classroom to be collect by this year’s teacher. For parents of children entering Kindergarten, please bring an updated immunization record to the school. The record should include the 4 year old booster. If you have any questions, please call you local public health office Saint John- 658-2285. Also, for parents of grade 1 students, please send an updated copy if you did not last year. We look forward to another great year here at FHS! Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe! See you next week, Melissa Savoie Principal Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities Forest Hills School students will become successful, productive citizens fulfilling their passions in life as part of an ever-changing world.
