Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities August 14th, 2014 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Hello!  I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer months!  We will be starting our new school year before you know it.  With that in mind, I have a couple of important items for FHS families. First, we will be hosting our PSSC Elections/Open House early this year on Wednesday, August 27th. We will meet in the main gym (with our brand new floors) for a welcome, our PSSC elections, and welcome from our Home & School.  We will then assign the students to their new homerooms.  It is our hope that having the opportunity to meet the teacher and drop off school supplies will help to alleviate some of the first day of school jitters.  At 6:15 we will begin to make our way out back for a welcome BBQ sponsored by our PALs at Canaport LNG.  It will be a great nightJ The first day for students is Tuesday, September 2nd.  Half of our new Kindergarten students will start on Tuesday and the other half will start on Wednesday.  That information has already been sent to K families, but if you have any questions, please contact the school the week of August 25th, 658-5991. All Grade 1-8 students will start a regular first day on Tuesday the 2nd. We look forward to another great year here at FHS! Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe! Enjoy the rest of the summer, Melissa Savoie Principal Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities Forest Hills School students will become successful, productive citizens fulfilling their passions in life as part of an ever-changing world.
