Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities February 21st, 2014 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. The new date for out our Family Phys. Ed. Night is this Wednesday, February 26th from 6:30-8 p.m. Hopefully, the weather will finally cooperate with us.  We hope to see lots of families. Bring your sneakers and be prepared to have fun! Next week, in celebration of winter, we have different themes for each day: Monday- PJ Day Tuesday- Crazy Hat Day Wednesday- Pink Shirt Day in support of Anti-Bullying Thursday- Twin Day Friday- Red & White day in support of Paralympic Schools Week Kari Parsons’ asks that all elementary students bring warm clothes and helmets next week and they will be going sliding in phys. Ed. class.  Also, all students should be bundled up as we will be outside for recess and lunch as much as possible K-8. Hot Lunch- As you are aware, we don’t refund hot lunch when a child is out sick, but we do when it is a snow day.  We have asked that parents write snow day on the order form and check off what their child ordered.  That money carries over to the next week.  We do not typically have this many snow days, so if there has been some confusion, please contact the office. Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe! Have a great weekend, Melissa Savoie Acting Principal Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities Forest Hills School students will become successful, productive citizens fulfilling their passions in life as part of an ever-changing world.
