We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

May 19th, 2017

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

We would like to congratulate our Drama club for their excellent performance of
Haphazardly Every After.  The club, Mr. Goguen and other staff and parent volunteers put a lot of work into this performance and we couldn’t be more proud.

FHS PRIDE Week was a huge success.  We’d like to thank staff and students who participated and our GSA for organizing.

We would like to congratulate Katia Noiles for coming in 1st place for grade 7, Sarah Bedell for coming in 3rd place and Jenna
Irish for receiving a Special Recognition Award in the District Heritage Fair.  Katia will be moving on the provincial fair.  Job well done!!

Mark your calendars for our Annual FHS Night of the Arts which will be held on Monday, May 29th at 6:30.  It is always a fun filled night
of student and staff talent!

On Tuesday, we will be sending home the New Brunswick Elementary Student Wellness Survey with all K-5 students.  We would ask that you please take the
time to complete this parent survey (one per family) and return it to the school by Friday, the 26th.  Students in grades 4 and 5 will also be completing a student survey in class on Tuesday.  Thank you for your support.

Finally, just a reminder that there is no school on Monday for Victoria Day.

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Melissa Savoie
