March 17th, 2017

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

I would just like to let everyone know that I have returned from my maternity leave this week.  I would like to thank our whole FHS Admin team (Bev, Donna, Trudy, Paul and Kari) for their excellent
work, especially to Paul Hickey who has been the Acting Principal and Kari Parsons who has been the Acting Elementary VP.  They did an excellent job!

Congratulations to all of our Science Fair participants today! They did an excellent job and had many innovative and original ideas.  Well done!  Also, thank you to Mr. Vandenberghe for organizing.

Report cards will be going home on Monday, March 27th.  Student Led conferences will be held on Thursday the 30th from 4-7 and Friday to 31st from 1-3.  Please arrange
an appointment time with your child’s teacher.

Reminder to grade 8 students that the initial deposit for the grade 8 trip is due on March 24th.

FHS will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from March 29th-31st.  More details will be sent home Monday.

The Home & School will be meeting on April 10th at 6:30.  All are welcome!  They are also looking for volunteers to help out at the book fair. On the 30th and 31st.
If you or a grandparent have a few hours to spare, please contact the office, 658-5338.  Thank you!

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend,

Melissa Savoie
