This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.
If you haven’t heard already, we are very proud to announce that our Hillsong Elementary Choir did incredibly well at the Elementary Music Festival. They won three golds for the three class divisions
that they had entered! We couldn’t be more proud of the students and of Mr. Goguen’s hard work!
FHS will once again be supporting our PALs at Canaport LNG at their annual Marsh Creek Clean Up. It will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 8:30-12. If you are interested in helping us
out, please contact Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Savoie. Bring the whole family. There will be free food and gifts as well. We have a great time every year!
Our grade 4 English students have been selected to write the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study or PIRLs assessment on Tuesday, May 3rd. Parents, please look for the parent
survey that has been sent home and send it back as soon as possible. We’d ask that all surveys be returned by Wednesday, May 4th.
I just wanted to make everyone aware that we are working on or flags out front. Both pulls are broken and we can’t even get the old NB flag down right now. Facilities has been out to look at it and
will be hiring a lift in May to come and fix them. Hopefully, we’ll be back in working order soon!
There will be no school for students on Thursday the 5th or Friday the 6th for our AGM and Subject Council Day.
