Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

November 6th, 2015

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

There will be no school on Wednesday, November 11th for Remembrance Day.  We will be having a school service on Tuesday the 10th.

We will be having our annual Silent Auction in support of our Christmas families on the evening of November 26th for student led conferences.  If students are able to bring in a new item
or gift certificate to donate, they will earn a point for their house.  If you can include an approximate value, that is helpful. We would like to have items by Monday, November 23rd, if possible.  Thank you for your support!

We are also looking for new or gently used items for our annual Christmas Flea Market on Dec. 3rd. Toys, books, games, jewelry, ornaments, stuffed animals, Christmas
crafts, etc.  We would like these things in by the 2nd of December. as that is the day we set the mini gym up for the sale.

Report cards will be going home on Monday, November 23rd and Student Led conferences will be the evening of Thursday, November 26th (4-7) and Friday, November 27th
(1-3).  There will be no school for students on Friday the 27th.

Please also mark your calendars for FHS Zumba on Tuesday, November 24th from 6:30-7:30.  The cost is $5 and all money raised will be donated to the Empty Stocking Fund.

Also, in support of the Empty Stocking Fund, this year each class will aiming to purchase one toy to donate.  Our goal is for each student to donate $1 or $2 which will be used to purchase the class
gift.  This original idea came from our very own Student Leaders.  What a great example of students helping students!

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend,
