Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

October 30th, 2015

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

Unfortunately our gr. 3-5 soccer jamboree that was scheduled for Thursday was cancelled again this week due to the rain.  This will not be rescheduled.

We will be having our annual Silent Auction in support of our Christmas families on the evening of November 26th for student led conferences.  If students are able to bring in a new item
or gift certificate to donate, they will earn a point for their house.  If you can include an approximate value, that is helpful. Thank you for your support!

Forest Hills School is looking for five families (parent/ guardian and student) to volunteer two hours each of their time and day on Saturday, November 28 to help support the 2015 Salvation Army Annual
Christmas Kettle Campaign. This will take place in front of Sears at the McAllister Place Mall. If you are interested in volunteering to
support this valuable community initiative or have further questions, please contact Ms. Sampson at 658 -5338 or
wanda.sampson@nbed.nb.ca for more information by
November 13.

Finally, we ask that all parents and students to very carefully read all of the labels on Halloween treats before bringing treats for lunch next week.  As you know, we are a nut and peanut free facilities.
This includes our buses.  We have students who can have an allergic reaction from being touched by the oil of nuts or from the smell alone.  This is very serious and we thank you all for helping us keep our children safe!

Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!

Have a nice weekend and be safe trick-or-treating!

Melissa Savoie
