Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities June 12th, 2015 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. This is a final reminder to come and have a look at our lost and found items. Items left in the summer, will be donated to Community Living. Please come have a look! Today was the last day of hot lunch service. For your planning, the Grade 8 Celebration will be on Thursday, June 18th at 5:30. It will be followed by a 6-8 dance from 6-8PM. We can’t wait to celebrate our grade 8 students! On Thursday, June 18th, we will have our annual school wide activity morning. Our Home & School, along with the school, will be purchasing ham subs for the students and staff. If your child didn't pre-order a sub, please send them with a lunch. Want to help us win $1000 to be used for new Phys. Ed. equipment? The Saint John Exhibition is sponsoring a Gym Hero Fun Run and Walk on September 5 at 12 noon on the race track. It's absolutely free to enter and is open to everyone. You don't have to win the race either. 2 random draws for $1000 each will occur plus there will draws for free ride bracelets. Hope to see you there! As you know, next Friday is the last day of school and is a half day. We will be issuing report cards on Friday. Included in the report card envelope is an invitation to our Open House/PSSC Election for next school year, on Wednesday, September 2nd 5:30-7. The FHS Day Plan for 2015-2016 will also be included as we will be starting instruction at 8:50 and dismissing at 2:05 (K-2) and 3:05 (3-8) next year. Drop off for students/supervision will continue to be at 8:15. Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe!
