Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities June 5th, 2015 This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School. Thank you to all families who were able to join us for our second annual FHS Night of the Arts.  It was a huge success and a wonderful night.  We are so proud of all of our performers and artists! We’ve had a wonderful couple of weeks at FHS filled with student accomplishments.  We want to celebrate Lucas Worden and Tom Wood, both grade 8 students and winners of the ASD-S Turnaround Achievement award.  We are proud of you boys!  Our Middle Level Rugby Team won the Gathering of the Scots tournament over the weekend and came back to school with a huge trophy.  Awesome job!  Finally, we did extremely well at both our elementary and middle level track events and had many students bring home ribbons! We had a great school wide walk today in support of Disability Awareness Week.  It is always great to have school wide events like this! For your planning, the Grade 8 Celebration will be on Thursday, June 18th at 5:30.  It will be followed by a 6-8 dance from 6-8PM.  We can’t wait to celebrate our grade 8 students! On Thursday, June 18th, we will have our annual school wide activity morning.  Our Home & School, along with the school, will be purchasing ham subs for the students and staff.  More information will be sent home. The final day of school, Friday, June 19th will be a half day. Remember Falcons, be respectful, be responsible, and be safe! Have a nice weekend, Melissa Savoie Principal Forest Hills School We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities Forest Hills School students will become successful, productive citizens fulfilling their passions in life as part of an ever-changing world.
